FRIstud is a classical liberal student organization at the University of Oslo,
Norway. We believe that every human being holds the fundamental right to
their own life. Individualism, free will, property rights and free
trade are keywords for a free world.
FRIstud is affiliated with FRIdemokratene, a non-partisan classical liberal organization, and The Norwegian Student Union at the University of Oslo. FRIstud hosts debates and seminars. We strongly believe in academic, intellectual discussion. We publish our own journal, Ama-gi, biannually. We also sell books on behalf of the classically oriented liberal book seller Bauta Books. FRIstud also spreads knowledge about libertarianism through various campaigns and rallies. From our office base at the Chateau Neuf student center, we arrange activities we find interesting and useful. We have an extensive contact base internationally: FRIstud initiated the establishment of the European Libertarian Student Union, which is an umbrella organization of various libertarian students and student organizations in Europe.
